Your birth, witnessed, honored, and held as sacred.
Nourished. Nurtured. Held.

A gentle return to traditional care.
I am Bethany E. Erby, CCM, TM, and I come to this work through a lineage of hands that have caught babies before me, tracing back to my great-great-grandmother Lottie, a traditional midwife. My path has taken me through international training in Italy and Japan, and into the homes of families seeking a different way to bring their children into the world.
I practice the B.O.M.B. (Birthing Outside the Medical Bubble) method, blending evidence-based clinical care with ancestral, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic, and homeopathic wisdom. Because this work requires deep presence, I take a deliberately limited caseload of just two families a month.
This is for families who want their birth witnessed, honored, and held as sacred, whoever is present and wherever it happens.
The Journey We Build Together
The Discovery Call
A no-pressure conversation to see if this is a mutual fit. We will talk about your vision, your fears, and what it means to be truly held during your transition into parenthood.
The Sacred Plan
Prenatal visits are scheduled as needed. We use the B.R.A.I.N. framework together for every decision, ensuring your autonomy leads the way.
The B.R.A.I.N. Framework
In-Home Visits
Beginning after 36 weeks, we move our visits to your home. We prepare your space and ensure it is known, safe, and ready before labor begins.
The Birth, However It Unfolds
Witnessed, honored, and held as sacred. I remain by your side, supporting physiologic birth and your body's innate wisdom.
Postpartum Held
The "Return to the Nest" protocol: skin-to-skin in bed, babywearing and sling support, and weekly check-ins continuing deep into the fourth trimester.

A return to your inner knowing.
A reclaiming of your power.
Pregnancy and birth are profoundly beautiful, transformative seasons. They are not merely events to be managed, but sacred rites of passage to be honored.
Through traditional wise woman care, we quiet the outside noise and return to your innate inner knowing. Your body holds a deep, ancestral wisdom about how to birth. My role is simply to hold a safe, undisturbed space for that wisdom to unfold naturally.
This journey is a reclaiming of birth. It is about stepping fully into your sovereignty, trusting the deep rhythms of your body, and discovering that birth can be a place of immense joy, strength, and triumphant beauty.

Held Through the Journey
Bethany's prenatal care felt like a deep exhale. She didn't just check my vitals; she checked my spirit. Her postpartum visits were an absolute lifeline during those tender early weeks.
— Sarah M.
I have never felt so listened to during a pregnancy. Every prenatal visit was an unhurried conversation where my intuition was honored just as much as the clinical evidence.
— Elena R.
The level of support we received postpartum was unmatched. Having Bethany come to our home, prepare an herbal bath, and just sit with us made the fourth trimester feel so safe and held.
— Jessica T.
"The joy of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood is profound, but it was never meant to be carried alone. We believe in the importance of traditional care rooted in community—where slow recovery is honored, and you are held deeply postpartum."
It is time to bring matrescence back to the center of parenting, guided by wise woman support that helps us arrive there safely.
The key to changing the world is raising empowered children, and to do that, we must first empower the mother.
