Held by hands that have
done this before.
I was a photographer first, but my years catching babies as a community midwife changed everything about how your session feels.

A newborn photographer -
guided by midwifery.
I knew I was called to birth work from a very young age. Long before I ever had a studio, I was photographing newborns in the hospital — as far back as 2006, when I was just beginning to understand what it meant to hold a new life with care.
That early pull toward both photography and birth led me to midwifery. Attending more than 300 births as a community midwife sharpened everything — my hands, my patience, my instincts. It transformed the way I handle a newborn in the studio in ways no photography course ever could.
I see the beauty the birth and the glory in the woman. I not only watch through my lens, but through the wise ways of a traditional midwife. Midwifing can take the form of just reflecting beauty and support through your entire journey, whether I have my birth bags or my camera bag.
So when you hand me your little one, you're not just handing them to an artist with a camera. You're handing them to someone who has spent a lifetime at the intersection of birth and beauty, and who knows exactly how to keep them safe, settled, and seen.

How it all unfolded
Called to Birth Work
From a very young age, I knew I was called to birth work. By 2006, I was already photographing newborns in the hospital — drawn instinctively to those first quiet hours of life, and to the art of holding them gently in an image.
300+ Births, Hands-On
That early calling deepened into midwifery. Attending over 300 births as a community midwife sharpened everything — my instincts, my hands, my patience, and my understanding of what a newborn truly needs in those first fragile days.

Two decades of experience — at the intersection of birth and beauty — now live inside every session. The studio is where all of it comes together: art, safety, and the unhurried care that only a lifetime of this work can bring.
What safe, gentle posing
actually looks like
Every pose is supported, every transition is slow, and your baby is never left unattended. This is the quiet, careful work behind each finished portrait.

Guiding parents gently — demonstrating how to safely and comfortably hold your newborn.

Safely positioned above, capturing those impossibly small details while keeping baby completely secure.

Swaddling and settling with two hands, bringing a quiet joy to every careful movement.

Capturing the beautiful connection between mother and baby, moving entirely at your pace.
"Your baby's safety comes before every single photograph. Always. The beautiful images are simply what's left behind when you feel that completely at ease."
Let's hold these
days together.
Sessions are limited each month so every family gets my full, unhurried attention. I'd be honored to be the one who captures yours.
